Zambezi Grande Private Game Experience

This area of unspoilt grassland and woodland on the outskirts of Lusaka is renowned for its pristine trees as well as being home to more than 500 plains animals. Lilayi Lodge was officially opened in November 1991 and has been well known as one of Lusaka's main attractions for many years.

In 2013 the Miller Family decided to completely renovate this iconic piece of Zambian History and create a first class establishment that showcases the best that Zambia has to offer, thick bush to palm groves, complementing the splendour of the mighty Zambezi River that runs alongside the park

It hosts an abundance of wildlife and offers plenty of opportunities to sight many of the Big 5 on your drive. Zambezi Grande's river safaris are also not to be missed. Accompanied by world-class guides, you'll encounter picturesque wildlife lingering on the banks in their glorious natural state. A popular evening activity is the Sundowner river cruise. Indulge in aperitifs and snacks while you watch the golden Zambian sunset over the gentle waters of the Zambezi River.
Since welcoming their first guests in the fall of 2017, Zambezi Grande Private Game Experience, has spared no luxury. Even if you don’t plan on spending a lot of time in your suite, you should still get to enjoy the magic of a comfortable, well-designed place to rest your head at the end of an exciting day.

Exclusive and private, their five free-standing Superior Suites offer magnificent views of the Zambezi River. The lodge also has five luxury rooms with warm, inviting interiors that serve as a tranquil haven, with no comfort spared. Can it get more relaxing? Yes! Built with relaxation in mind and inspired by the pure and natural richness of Mother Earth, the Zambezi Grande spa provides exclusive & luxurious wellness treatments aimed at revitalizing and refreshing your mind, body and soul. When it comes to cuisine, Zambezi Grande's team of master chefs carefully prepare gourmet pan-African delicacies that are guaranteed to tantalize your taste buds and add to your 5-star experience. Complimented by a hand-picked wine menu and classic cocktails, you can opt to dine al fresco on the terrace or inside their cozy dining area.
