Luwi Camp
Time + Tide Luwi is a private and remote, seasonal bush camp set deep in South Luangwa National Park on the ephemeral Luwi River. With no other camps for miles, it offers a wonderfully grounded safari experience that brings guests close to the sounds, tracks and textures of the bush. The camp has four safari tents, each with one bedroom, one bathroom, an open air bathroom, outdoor shower and private seating area. The style is simple, comfortable and immersive, with fans, solar power, charge stations and WiFi in the tents.

The main safari tent includes a dining area, lounge, library, bar and campfire, creating an easy, intimate rhythm between safari activities. Luwi is especially well suited to walking safaris, with nearby routes through floodplains, riverine woodland and lagoon systems. Guests can also enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, cultural visits, sundowners, children’s activities and the Time + Tide Sleepout Under the Stars. A nearby hide overlooks an oxbow lagoon, making it a rewarding camp for photographers and patient wildlife watchers.
Luwi is open from 20 May to 15 November and welcomes children of all ages. Rates include accommodation, all meals, standard drinks, transfers to and from the local airport except Jeki, local inter camp road transfers, laundry, service charge and two daily activities. Reserve spirits, premium wines and champagnes, flights, visas, spa treatments, gratuities and personal expenses are excluded.
