Lolelunga Private Games Reserve
Lolelunga Private Reserve is a pioneering conservation and tourism initiative, situated 30 kilometres north of Kafue National Park in northern Zambia. As the country’s first fully fenced private reserve, Lolelunga spans 30,000 hectares with 13 kilometres of the Lunga River forming a natural focal point.
The reserve has transformed from an area previously affected by poaching, deforestation, and unsustainable practices into a thriving sanctuary. Conservation milestones include the successful reintroduction of cheetah, with sitatunga, lion and a wealth of plains game establishing healthy populations. Plans for the reintroduction of black rhino further reinforce the reserve’s long-term commitment to conservation and rewilding.

The lodge accommodates a maximum of 14 guests, ensuring exclusivity. The property comprises a combination of king rooms, junior suites, and a family suite, all designed with riverside views and contemporary comfort. Shared facilities include a pool overlooking the Lunga River, a well-equipped gym and a dedicated spa.
Guest experiences are designed to be flexible and tailored. Activities include game drives, walking safaris and river excursions such as catch and release fishing, are alongside signature experiences such as private dining or overnight sleepouts on the Ngoma Deck. These offer unique opportunities to connect with nature in a safe, fully guided environment.
Lolelunga Private Reserve delivers a low-impact conservation safari experience suitable for couples, families and small groups seeking exclusivity and authenticity. It combines strong conservation and Corporate Social Responsibility ethos with an intimate luxury offering, providing a distinctive new offering in Zambia.
