Each evening, you'll set up camp in a prime spot along the Zambezi for wild camping and lifelong memories. Fan of the famous Baobab Tree? Enjoy Gwabi's half-day excursion through the neighbouring Baobab forest. If you're in the mood for a unique guided hiking experience, a nearby cave in the mountains will reveal an array of bats and elevated views over the valley. Close to the lodge, you can spend a few hours exploring the bush with one of our guides who'll teach you about local flora and fauna. Keep an eye out for tracks in the sand and birdlife in the trees above you.
Speaking of our feathered friends, this is the perfect opportunity to spot one of the 378 bird species in the Lower Zambezi Valley. If you've got your own gear then Gwabi's large, shaded Campsite provides a stunning location to pitch a tent with views over the Kafue River. The large outdoor swimming pool, bar, and restaurant area are located in the main lodge and are accessible to every guest.
