Amanzi Lodge

Almost fairy tale-like. Surrounded by pure African beauty, Anabezi's sister Camp, Amanzi, provides one of the most intimate safari experiences in the Lower Zambezi. ‘Amanzi’ means 'water' in the local Tonga language, referring to the camp's prime location on the Zambezi River.

Here you'll find one of the last unspoiled natural areas in the world.
Morning drives may reveal buffalo, elephant, zebra, and an array of antelope.

On a night drive, you might encounter hyena, porcupine, aardvark, and the BIG cats as they emerge from their slumber.

Bird watching enthusiasts are in for a special treat with the Lower Zambezi's 500 bird species. Spend the afternoon admiring wildlife, including rare aquatic creatures with a canoe excursion. Or get a fresh and unique look at the African bush on a walking safari. A beloved way to end the day is with a boat trip on a pontoon. As the sun sets, cruise the fourth largest river in Africa while you pass colossal crowds of crocodiles and hefty pods of hippopotami.
Amanzi Camp features four classic luxury tented suites, including a tent designed for families with young children in mind. The spacious suites include an indoor bathroom, sitting room, and a private covered balcony with stunning views of the Ngwenya Channel.

The dining area, where you'll enjoy first class cuisine, and main camp lounge connect to the lodge's sun deck and outdoor swimming pool. There you can marvel over a view of the Zambezi River’s mosaic of islands that's second to none.
